Internet marketing one-day workshops

We are now offering one-day workshops for new and growing businesses. The courses are to be held in Ruabon, Wrexham and have been designed to help customers understand how websites should be working for their businesses.

The workshops aim to educate attendees on how to get the best from a website in a straightforward and non-technical way. Covering a broad range of topics, the sessions provide an overview of the website design and development process with an emphasis on marketing the business using a website and the internet.

Objectives

Below is an overview of some of the topics covered in the workshops:

• Common website mistakes and avoiding them

• Setting website objectives to meet business goals

• Who your website is for – focussing on the needs of your customers

• Content – understand how customers use, read and experience websites

• Establish and position keywords for customer capture and higher search engine rank

• Developing a website design brief – how to communicate with your web designer

• The law and the internet – legislation you must be aware of to stay legal online

• Website promotion through search engines

Format

The courses are delivered as full day workshops (usually 9.30am to 4.30pm including breaks) to groups of up to 20 delegates. There will be lots of opportunities to discuss, question and share experiences as well as practice activities.
